It’s been a while, but let me bring you up to speed.
I’m no longer in the application process. I got a callback from the Hillsdale Hospital. So I’m now going through the hiring process. I had a physical a few days ago. I found out that I’m in pretty good shape, but my eyes are worse than I though. I had to read the third line from the bottom, couldn’t do it. Left eye could, but right eye had to move up a few lines. The first thing I do with some medical insurance is get some glasses. I lost my immunization records, so I had to give up some blood. The lab can use that to see what I’m immunized against. The worst part was just giving up a urine sample. Geez, they practically frisked me just to make sure I didn’t have anything in my pockets. I know, I know, it’s necessary.
Anyway, I go back to Hillsdale Thursday for the second part of the TB test. I’ll also be looking at an apartment right next door to the hospital. I’d love to live next to work. How much gas would I save if I could walk 30 feet? A bunch! Then just get an electric scooter to move around town. I’ll try to get some pictures posted on facebook, but no guarantees. For the money that I’ll be making at the hospital, I should have my pick of the town.
