”Back in my Day”

I hate to be the “back in my day” guy, but I remember when every product at the grocery store had a price tag on it so you knew exactly how much it would cost.

I just grabbed a box of cereal from an end cap that said, “select varieties $1.49”. Silly me for assuming that meant the variety on display was the one that would be that price. Nope. This one is $2.59. 🙄

Grocery shopping is needlessly frustrating now.
