Supercomputer in your pocket

It’s amazing to me that our modern smartphones have similar processing power to the supercomputers of 20 years ago, and they run ON BATTERIES for upwards of 30 hours at a time.

  1. Yep. It helps to keep things in perspective. While we tend to bitch about poor battery life, our phones have far more processing power than the Apollo Lander. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if a single smartphone had more processing power than the entire operation.
