It’s amazing to me that our modern smartphones have similar processing power to the supercomputers of 20 years ago, and they run ON BATTERIES for upwards of 30 hours at a time.

Yep. It helps to keep things in perspective. While we tend to bitch about poor battery life, our phones have far more processing power than the Apollo Lander. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if a single smartphone had more processing power than the entire operation.
