For the last few months I’ve been tightening my fiscal belt in an effort to save extra money for some larger purchases. The neat thing is that I’ve been able to see my checking account grow in value. Today, when I opened my account statement, I see that I’ve received the deposit from my federal and state refunds. The amount is significant and seeing that extra dough made me shout out, “Whoo-hoo!”
Those who know me know that it takes a lot to get me truly excited. This is one of those rare events. The feeling is like fasting, then having someone treat you to a nice dinner. Mmmm, delish.
