US Navy tests “Big Gun”
The US Navy is using what they call a rail gun, which uses electromagnetic energy rather than chemical explosives. Sci-Fi enthusiasts will recognize the technology as being similar to that used on Battlestar Galactica and futuristic video games, such as Quake. read more | digg story
