Tech Support

When the guy at tech support actually tells me he’s from India (we had a nice bit of chit-chat), I feel cheated; like he’s breaking the Fourth Wall or something. I know he’s from India, but he pretends not to be, and I pretend that I’m OK with it.

Anyway, “Matthew” seemed to be a nice guy. I think its the first time I have actually talked to tech support like a human being. He says its hot in India. I didn’t tell him that I’ve forgotten where India lies compared to the equator.

  1. I had a crazy conversation with a guy from Alltel (yes, they deal in Americans, or at least good English-speakers). He was like on a 20th cup of coffee, hadn’t slept in days, and definitely would’ve fit in with our crazy geeky crowd (only scarier).
