2006 Year End Survey

1)Was 2006 a good year for you? It was pretty good!

2) What was your favorite moment of the year? Taking an inpromptu drive across the state with Jim over the summer, then not being able to find a hotel room.

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year? Messing up a potential relationship with Cathy.

4) Where were you when 2006 began? Listening to some crazy bands at the Blind Pig, a bar in Ann Arbor.

5) Who were you with? Courtney, Mike, Erin, Holly, and the tall girl.

6) Where will you be when 2006 ends/ended? This year, I will be “alone” at Jim’s house, probably zoned out in a video game, completely oblivious to the year-end.

7) Who will you be with when 2006 ends/ended? Jim and Vanessa, technically.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2006? I dont remember if I made one. Although, I was hoping for a more educational (in the life sense, not the school sense) year, and i know that I certainly learned a lot this year.

10) Did you fall in love in 2006? At this point, its debatable whether I can even fall in love. On one level, I feel like i’ve cheated myself by being such a man-whore.

14) Do you regret it? Regret falling in love? I regret not settling down for a month and getting to know her.

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2006? Yes.

16) Did you make any new friends in 2006? Yes.

17) Who are your favorite new friends? Ted and Marie.

18) What was your favorite month of 2006? August

19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2006? Nope, and I have no plan to in 2007.

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2006? I think I went to Ohio once this summer.

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2006? No one died, and I didn’t really disassiate from anyone.

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year? I haven’t seen Katie in well over a year. I miss her a lot.

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2006? I want to say “Just like heaven”, but I’m thinking that was late 2005. Otherwise, The Lake House was good.

24) What was your favorite song from 2006? Breaking Benjamin’s “So Cold”

25) What was your favorite record from 2006? The newest Breaking Benjamin CD.

26) How many concerts did you see in 2006? I guess I saw the Motion City Soudntrack Concert in the UC.

27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2006?

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2006? I drank enough… let’s leave it at that.

29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2006? Actually, I did less drugs this year than any other.

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2006? Four

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? there are definately some things that I didn’t think through completely. But it’s all a lesson.

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2006? Its not a very good lie if I knew they were lieing.

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2006? Yes

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2006? Not unless you count myself, Expedia, or WalMart.

36) How much money did you spend in 2006? My initial estimate is somewhere around 3-5 thousand dollars.

37) What was your proudest moment of 2006? Working things out between Courtney and I.

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2006? Having to strap microphones onto the female finnish comedy group.

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2006 and change something, what would it be? I’d have given Cathy and I a real chance.

40) What are your plans for 2007? I’ve done a good job this year of learning to take more time for myself. I’ve definately cut back on my work. Now it’s time to take the next step. In 2007, I’ve got to keep myself out of these “dead-end” relationships that i’ve been getting into and really try to find someone to settle down with.
