Courtney and I had our first real date today. We went to see the 2 p.m. show of “Just like Heaven”. It was a pretty good movie. I read the book it was based on. I personally thought the book was better, but the movie was good in it’s own right. And it had some unique moments that were all it’s own. Bravo to the people who put that wonderful story on the big screen. And casting Reese Witherspoon and Mark Rufalo as the two main leads was a perfect choice. HOLLYWOOD ROCKS!
As for Courtney and I…
For those who dont know, Courtney is a freshman this year at NMU (yes i’m going for freshman… laugh all you want you sacks of crap… [they know who they are]). She lives down the hall from me in Magers Hall. She’s from Adrian (I had to travel 9 hours to meet someone who was in practicalLy in my own backyard). That’s what got us talking at first, actually. I forgot how homesick people get being away from home the first year of college. She’s freakin’ amazing guys! Courtney (is): Totally warm-hearted and caring; never judges harshly; will do anything she can to help out; and is open minded (she did experimenting this summer like I did [and came to many of the same conclusions]). Oh yeah, and she’s insanely cute and has a super sweet voice. I love listening to her.
Yeah, so anyway; up until now anything close to a date has been with a bunch of the people from the residence hall. Well, except for the sunrise on the beach (which we’re doing again tomarrow morning), that was just us.
Courtney… you rock! The past weeks would not be as much fun if you hadn’t been a part of my life.
