I think a little more explanation is required for my “LJ Poll”.

One person in particular, pointed out to me that I have been trying to change them. And once i got thinking about, i noticed that i am constantly pushing people in my life to think about things from a different perspective. Most notably to my parents. If they are watching Dateline or something and start commenting on the person being interviewed, i will usually play “Devils Advocate” and counter their comments with questions. This isn’t nessisarily to get them to change their minds (usually i agree with their comments), this is only to get them (and me) to open their minds and think about a situation in a new light.

When I see people unhappy, i usually get a sense that their unhappiness stems from a stagnant life. I’ve found, in my own life, that a change (while perhaps difficult) can often bring about a new passion and serve to rejuvenate our spirit.
This is my motive. I want everyone around me to find happiness through maturation. I want to push myself and my friends to a point where our true spirits can shine through our unhealthy Earthen habits.
