Trouble With SamKnows Router cont.

I received the following email as a reply:

Hi Marcus

User update
We are very sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your router. Please follow the steps below to update your router.
Please follow this link to setup http://fcc.samknows.com/install
To install the firmware, please download it from: https://files.samknows.com/~support/firmware/WNR3500L-V1.2.2.40_34.0.30SK.chk
Next, install it onto a PC connected to our router.
Make sure that the PC is connected to our unit (and that our unit is connected to your network). Browse to http://www.routerlogin.net (login with “admin” and “password” if prompted).
On the left hand menu, find “Router Upgrade” under maintenance. Click the Choose File button and browse to the firmware. Click Open, then click the Upload button.

I don’t feel like I was understood at all. If I wanted to have two local NAT pools, I would have set it up that way the first time! I want my personal router to have a public IP address and have only one NAT.
