corpus tempus

Before I left on my trip to Korea (see the photo album on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2132616&id=40602003&l=015cb7101b ) I noticed that my body clock was drifting. It seemed harder and harder to wake up at 6 a.m. every work day. Now, after overcoming jet lag, my clock has reset perfectly. I’m waking up between 4 and 6 a.m. and getting sleepy around 9 p.m.

In other news, my truck is acting flaky again, so I’ve been looking at cars for sale. I’ve done some homework and decided I can spend between 7 and 11 thousand. I’ve read some good things about the Kia Rio, so I’ll be looking at one of those this week. I’ve also been thinking about “Cash for Clunkers” – as that’d be the only way I can see a return on the money I’ve invested in the truck – but the only dealerships in the Hillsdale/Jonesville area are GM, Ford, and Chrysler and I’ve yet to see anything of theirs in my price range that interests me.
