Gemini’s Grokipedia Rival

Posted to r/GeminiAI

Back when Musk released Grokipedia, I thought, “When will Google make a rival?” That rival never came so I’ve built one with the help of Jules: https://derpedia.org

Partly inspired by a coworker who said, “Imagine if Google had a derpy cousin,” this Google/Wikipedia uses Google’s gemini-2.5-flash & imagen-4.0-fast-generate-001 to create new articles in the database. More information and the source code for the site is on my github page: https://github.com/davenport651/derpedia.org

Try it out and let me know how it goes. It’s running on a home server, so it is prone to downtime and low speeds. 😆
