Replace the stopper in the tub
Replace the brass stopper in the tub drain with a plastic (non-corroding) stopper.

Tub drain linkage
Instructions
- Remove the old stopper by removing the screws from the overflow lever.
- May need to open the drain below, plug the drain with a rag, and fill the overflow with cleaner
- Follow the instructions to replace the plug/linkage (set the length based on current stopper)
- Replace the overflow lever.
