The classic whiskey drink…

• 2 tsp simple syrup or maraschino cherry juice/grenadine
• 3 dashes bitters
• 2 ounces bourbon or whiskey
• orange peel
• 1-2 maraschino cherries

1. Combine simple syrup, bitters, and whiskey in rocking glass; stir well
2. add 2 large ice cubes and stir to chill
3. garnish with orange and crushed cherry

Use a higher quality “sipping whiskey” or a flavored whiskey for an extra nice drink.
