===Ingredients===
  * 2 tsp simple syrup or maraschino cherry juice/grenadine
  * 3 dashes bitters
  * 2 ounces bourbon or whiskey
  * orange peel
  * 1-2 maraschino cherries

===Instructions===
  -Combine simple syrup, bitters, and whiskey in rocking glass; stir well
  -add 2 large ice cubes and stir to chill
  -garnish with orange and crushed cherry

===Special Notes===
Use a higher quality "sipping whiskey" or a flavored whiskey for an extra nice drink.
