Rice Pudding

Rice pudding from the Good Housekeeping cookbook.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cups Rice
  • 1/4 cup (4 tbs) Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla flavoring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring to boil HALF milk and ALL rice
  2. Simmer until milk is absorbed (about 20 minutes)
  3. DO NOT LET IT GO DRY
  4. Combine all ingredients in oven safe dish
  5. Bake at 300°F for 1.5 hrs

Special Notes

Double batch fits in 9×13 baking dish. Suggest smaller dish for single batch.
