Old Fashioned
The classic whiskey drink…
Ingredients
- 2 tsp simple syrup or maraschino cherry juice/grenadine
- 3 dashes bitters
- 2 ounces bourbon or whiskey
- orange peel
- 1-2 maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Combine simple syrup, bitters, and whiskey in rocking glass; stir well
- add 2 large ice cubes and stir to chill
- garnish with orange and crushed cherry
Special Notes
Use a higher quality “sipping whiskey” or a flavored whiskey for an extra nice drink.
