Knob and tube (and tar-wrapped) wiring is still prevalent throughout basement and house. It needs replaced.

- 12-2 wiring for main hauls
- 14-2 wiring for 'service' lines

- The goal will be to run modern wiring in parallel to the K&T 'main bus' then disconnect each branch and use existing wire as a pull cord to pull modern wiring from each outlet to the basement.
