For those who don’t remember last year’s review: Jump<\/a><\/p>\n

1) Was 2009 a good year for you?<\/i> All in all; yes. I’m doing work that is very draining for me, but its given me a lot of financial freedom and allowed me to take a trip to Korea, buy a new car, and continue providing for my self and my family.

\n2) What was your favorite moment of the year?<\/i> Easily, my favorite moment was cleaning the farm and clearing an old fence row with the help of a front-end loader.\"\"<\/p>\n

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year?<\/i> Taking the twelve hour plane ride to Tokyo.<\/p>\n

4) Where were you when 2009 began?<\/i> According to my old post, I was with Dave, Val, and my folks at their place.<\/p>\n

5) Who were you with?<\/i> See above.<\/p>\n

6) Where will you be when 2009 ends\/ended?<\/i> Sitting at Shanty Creek, drinking beer with Val and her friends.<\/p>\n

7) Who will you be with when 2009 ends\/ended?<\/i> Two Stephanies, Nick, Val, and Sarah. Wish you were here Dave.<\/p>\n

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2009?<\/i> I was moderately successful. I have been able to keep my pickup alive and running the entire year, but was not able to purchase a house (though I came damn close).<\/p>\n

10) Did you fall in love in 2009?<\/i> I did not. I have been happily loved already.<\/p>\n

11) If yes, with who?<\/i> …<\/p>\n

12) If yes, do they know?<\/i> …<\/p>\n

13) Are you still in love with them?<\/i> …<\/p>\n

14) Do you regret it?<\/i> …<\/p>\n

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2009?<\/i> Nope, not since ’06.<\/p>\n

16) Did you make any new friends in 2009?<\/i> Not really; only work friends and acquaintances.<\/p>\n

17) Who are your favorite new friends?<\/i> …<\/p>\n

18) What was your favorite month of 2009?<\/i> August was the most active month for me.<\/p>\n

19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2009?<\/i> Yes! Second year in a row to make an international journey. This year I made the trek to Busan, South Korea to visit Jon.<\/p>\n

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2009?<\/i> Didn’t do much national traveling this year. Only really went to Chicago, IL, and MSP Airport.<\/p>\n

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2009?<\/i> Surprisingly, not this year. I’m expecting it for 2010.<\/p>\n

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?<\/i> There are quite a few people I haven’t seen enough of this year. Mostly Jamieson, Jon, and the others from my clan.<\/p>\n

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2009?<\/i> Up. It was just an emotionally epic movie.<\/p>\n

24) What was your favorite song from 2009?<\/i> “I Still Like Bologna” -Alan Jackson<\/p>\n

25) What was your favorite record from 2009?<\/i> I don’t think I purchased any music this year.<\/p>\n

26) How many concerts did you see in 2009?<\/i> None.<\/p>\n

27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2009?<\/em><\/p>\n

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2009?<\/i> Not really. I have spurts where I drink heavily, then lay off for months.<\/p>\n

29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2009?<\/i> Val and I are trying to avoid putting drugs and chemicals in our bodies. So, like, none.<\/p>\n

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2009?<\/i> (Still weird to say, but) One.<\/p>\n

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?<\/i> I definitely should have allowed that old lady to take my seat on the subway, but I didnt know the Korean for “take this, please”.<\/p>\n

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2009?<\/i> I wouldn’t have known if someone had lied to me.<\/p>\n

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2009?<\/i> (My default answer) Probably<\/p>\n

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2009?<\/i> None<\/p>\n

36) How much money did you spend in 2009?<\/i> I don’t have the exact figure yet for this year, but I’m guessing its around 25k.<\/p>\n

37) What was your proudest moment of 2009?<\/i> Getting a great deal on a vehicle, going to and returning from an Asian country.<\/p>\n

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2009?<\/i> That incident on the subway in Korea.<\/p>\n

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2009 and change something, what would it be?<\/i> The subway thing again. That was just stupid.<\/p>\n

40) What are your plans for 2010?<\/i> Organizing my life and developing my idea of an intentional community.<\/p>\n
