I have always believed that our souls incarnate in humans to learn some kind of lesson and grow in a spiritual sense. If that’s the case, I have no idea what my wife is supposed to be learning, but MAN-OH-MAN has she been having a rough couple of years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basically, she was traveling eastbound on I96 in south Lansing around 6:15 am when it was totally dark and sprinkly. A Chevy Traverse had been cut off by a semi-truck and was (for some reason that we’re still not certain about) stalled in the driving lane. Two cars in front of her swerved out of the way to avoid the stalled vehicle, but wife wasn’t able to and she hit it at 70 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her car spun around in the road and she was pretty shaken up, but she ended up with only a few bruises on her hips where the seatbelt held her and a scratch on her right arm where some projectile grazed her. Pretty amazing to see the aftermath of something like this. Her phone and glasses were perfectly fine, but her prescription sunglasses were kinda mangled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me tell you: driving to the scene of a crash involving my wife was only slightly less terrifying than watching her be taken away in an ambulance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
