The new Power Rangers Netflix movie came out recently and I kept meaning to watch it. Wife went to sleep early yesterday so I turned it on. It was an interesting take on characters who’ve been off screen for… two decades? But my overall impression was low enough I could only express myself in meme form…
When I mentioned it to a friend, he gave me a better perspective: “if you put it in the same category as fan-made movies, it’s at least fun and watchable.”
Maybe so. I keep up on this fandom less than the average nerd, but if we’re going to put a professionally published movie into the fan category, it’s going to be hard to beat Power Rangers: Unworthy [1].
