Meijer had this “Limited Edition Ginger Beer” that I was intrigued enough to try. I thought it would be like Ginger Ale (which my family LOVES), but it’s got quite a bite to it.
It was not good on its own but after some experimentation, I’ve found it’s good to make an “Old Fashioned Holiday”.
- cup of ice
- shot of Malibu
- few shakes of bitters
- squeeze of lemon juice
- crushed maraschino cherry
- cover with ginger beer
- stir gently
