I’m completing my list of to-dos. Slowly, over the last few months, I’ve been knocking stuff off of my personal to-do list. I talked about getting the truck fixed, then made it happen (invested too much, but its done for a while); talked about seeing Jon in Korea, then made it happen (here’s the album [1]); talked about finally fixing my computer, so yesterday I put together an entirely new box (really the only way to fix my problem). For a year, I’ve been talking about getting a Chumby (Chumby.com [2]), but that’s a lot of money for what’s essentially an alarm clock. After my purchase of the Kia Rio5 goes through, I want to start investing money in tangible, practical assets (tools, books, maybe gold coins, etc), things that bring me closer to my goal of a self sustainable communal farm. So my next talking point will probably be purchasing a gas powered wood splitter (TSC has the cheapest).
