More on Ron Paul

The following quote is from “The Golden Radix” of Digg.com in response to http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/CNN_Republican_Debate_Highlights_Ron_Paul_s_Slam_Dunk_Bam [1] .
[Editors Note: That post no longer exists and I’m having trouble finding video of the debate so here’s an NYT’s article transcribing the event: https://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/30/us/politics/30text-debate.html ]
I’m posting this because I couldn’t have said it better myself. I’ve emboldened the part I think is truly key.

I wish there were some kind of deal that Paul could make with the networks to get more time. He has some very good things to say and I enjoy listening to him.

I feel sorry that he has to feel so stressed out that he has to raise his voice and talk so fast. He’s an older gentleman with a lot of experience, and I think he should be given enough respect in that regard alone.

I don’t truly have the hatred that some here on Digg have for the “MSM,” as they are only business entities, and obviously have their agendas.

However, freedom is a wonderful thing. I have no delusions that there are evil men plotting on how to shackle and chain our Liberties. There is only money. It is a hard master, but it’s the best our species has come up with to keep society moving.

Which is why I think, if the networks felt that the American people (their source of income) were truly interested in understanding money, and how it can work for the benefit or their demise, that they would give someone like Ron Paul, who addresses the core issues of sound money, enough time to articulate to the masses, exactly what is at stake with our failing Dollar.

Paul is a great ally of the business community. However, he is not so much an ally of the un-educated consumer, from their blinded (political) consumerist (as in spam) view-point.

I very much hope that a deal can be reached with these networks to work together with all the candidates to lay all the cards on the table in a manner that lays bare the reality and weight of the circumstances that this next administration will inherit, in a way that we can all relate to, without smearing anyone.

I think we’re ready for that. I think we’re all just ready to listen. I hope they’ll allow everyone to speak their truths, without pressure from anyone.
